Yes! Absolutely! Everyone gets proper Segway training before the tour and we don’t start the tour until you feel comfortable. Even kids 7 years old or seniors 80+ can operate it safely. In any case we will offer you a test drive (free of charge) before you will go on tour. Extra time for private training will be provided too.

Absolutely safe! The great thing about a Segway is that it contains a gyroscope – allowing the machine to self-balance in response to the rider’s movements. After just a few minutes of our safety and operational training, you’ll see how easy and effortless riding a Segway can be!

The are not minimum age exactly set for Segway tours. Kids should be able to understand the rules and follow all the instructions tour guide. Kids should be accompanied by responsible adult. There is a minimum weight and maximum restriction for Segway riders 30 kg - 113 kg (66 lbs - 250 lbs)

Yes, the tours run in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. For winter time we have winter tires on segway so we can safely ride on snow. For every tour guide, we would like to have max. of 6-7 participants. But don’t worry, if your group is larger than 6-7, we will just increase the number of tour guides accordingly.

Eco Segway Budapest tours are in ENGLISH as default. Our tour guides are trained to speak English slowly and articulate well with customers who are not native in English.

Segway PT is a personal transporter, by the local Hungarian regulations it is like a pedestrian. Using electric scooters up to 1000 Watt with a maximum speed up to 25 km/h we going in a bicycle transport category. You need not driver’s license to go on it.

The Segway PT is self-balancing, electric-powered transportation device. With dimensions no larger than the average adult body and the ability to emulate human balance, the Segway PT uses the same space as a pedestrian, and can go wherever a person can walk. It uses tilt and gyroscopic sensors which work with body movements, as a rider leans forward, the Segway moves forward. When rider leans back, Segway moves backward. It is very intuitive as it’s system monitors the balance of a rider about 100-times/second.

Definitely. Numerous photo stops are included in every tour. Don’t forget to bring your smartphone or a camera – our tour guides know the best photo-ops and hidden spots so you will have a unique memories!

We have enough resources to provide a tour for you. But sometimes could happened that all the guides are on tour but someone just show-up and wants to go on tour right now… It is highly recommended to book in advance in order to avoid any disappointment

The safety of your unborn child is our priority, therefore pregnant women are not allowed on Eco Segway tours.

Cancellation of your tour is possible in advance, via email or phone. We trust our customers to show up for their scheduled tours. In case of light rain, we provide raincoats. In case of hard rain tour could be rescheduled or canceled by your request.
